Job Summary

Responsibilities
- Execute engaging activities that promote cognitive, social, emotional, and physical development aligned with early childhood education standards
- Supervise children during playtime, meals, naps, and learning activities to ensure safety and well-being
- Maintain a clean, organized classroom environment conducive to learning and exploration
- Implement behavior management strategies to encourage positive interactions and discipline when necessary
- Communicate regularly with parents or guardians regarding children’s progress, needs, and any concerns
- Assist with daily routines such as diapering, feeding, and potty training for infants and toddlers
- Support children with special needs or disabilities by adapting activities and providing individualized care when required
Skills
- Proven experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or similar settings
- Knowledge of childhood development principles and age-specific milestones
- Certification in first aid and CPR to ensure safety during emergencies
- Experience with special education or working with children with disabilities is a plus
- Strong classroom management skills to foster a positive learning environment
- Ability to handle challenging behaviors with patience and effective behavior management techniques
- Excellent communication skills for collaborating with parents, colleagues, and children
- Compassionate caregiving attitude combined with enthusiasm for early childhood education

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
