Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and highly organized Warehouse Manager to lead our distribution center operations with energy and precision. Responsibilities
- Lead and manage daily warehouse operations, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and materials handling.
- Supervise warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing team.
- Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and Hand Held scanners to ensure safe and efficient movement of goods.
- Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
- Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems like SAP.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards across all warehouse activities.
- Coordinate logistics for distribution center operations, including shipping schedules, carrier communication, and delivery accuracy.
- Conduct regular audits of inventory levels, perform cycle counts, and implement inventory control measures to prevent discrepancies.
- Utilize Microsoft Office tools for reporting, documentation, and communication purposes.
- Promote a safety-first environment by conducting training sessions on materials handling, heavy lifting techniques, and equipment operation.
Requirements
- Proven experience in warehouse operations with a focus on distribution center management or similar environments.
- Strong leadership skills with previous warehouse supervisor or manager experience managing teams in fast-paced settings.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management (SAP) , and Hand Held scanner technology.
- Knowledge of logistics processes including shipping & receiving, materials handling, and distribution strategies.
- Ability to operate material handling equipment such as forklifts safely; forklift certification is preferred.
- Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety protocols.
- Excellent managerial communication skills to effectively lead teams and coordinate with cross-functional departments.
- Experience with process improvement initiatives using lean management principles to optimize warehouse workflows.
- Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and other manual tasks required in warehouse environments.

Pay: $18.00 - $20.00 per hour
