Responsibilities
- Execute dynamic lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards that promote literacy, math, physical education, and social-emotional growth.
- Lead classroom activities that support childhood development milestones, including toddler care and preschool instruction.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement techniques and behavior management strategies.
- Collaborate with colleagues to develop curriculum development initiatives and incorporate Montessori or other educational philosophies as appropriate.
- Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and child welfare policies while maintaining a safe environment for all children.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental achievements.
- Supervise classroom staff, provide mentorship, and foster a team-oriented atmosphere focused on high-quality childcare and early intervention efforts.
Requirements
- Proven teaching experience with young children in preschool or daycare settings, including classroom management expertise.
- Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, early intervention strategies, and special education needs.
- Demonstrated ability to develop engaging curricula that incorporate literacy education, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional learning.
- Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for early childhood assessment tools.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively collaborate with families, staff, and community partners.
- Valid certification in early childhood education or preschool teaching credentials; additional Montessori or specialized certifications are a plus.
- Experience working within private school or daycare environments is preferred; bilingual abilities are advantageous but not required.

Pay: $14.00 - $16.00 per hour
