Duties
- Perform venipuncture and blood sampling using proper aseptic techniques to ensure specimen integrity
- Collect, process, and label laboratory specimens accurately following established protocols
- Measure and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, temperature, and respiration for patient assessments
- Assist healthcare providers with patient care activities, including preparing patients for examinations and procedures
- Maintain a clean and organized clinical environment by adhering to infection control standards and laboratory procedures
- Document patient information, laboratory results, and procedural details precisely in medical records
- Support laboratory operations through specimen processing, inventory management, and equipment maintenance
- You will also be trained in performing Exercise Stress test and Heart Monitors
Skills
- Extensive knowledge of laboratory procedures, techniques, and safety standards
- Proven experience in clinical laboratories or hospital settings with hands-on phlebotomy expertise
- Strong understanding of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and blood sampling techniques
- Excellent patient service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and compassionately
- Proficiency in venipuncture (blood draws), specimen collection, and processing methods
- Ability to take accurate vital signs and perform basic patient assessments
- Familiarity with aseptic techniques to prevent contamination during specimen collection and handling

Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
