American Traveler is hiring a Travel IR Technologist for a 13-week assignment in Denver, CO, requiring a minimum of 6 months of current acute care IR Tech experience and ARRT (R) certification.

Interventional Radiology unit with 1 IR suite and 4 holding bays
-
Day shift staffing includes 2 techs and 2–3 RNs; night shift operates with 1 tech and 1 RN on call

1:1 patient ratio

Uses GE Allura imaging equipment

EMR: Meditech with Centricity PACS
-
Procedures include lung, liver, and kidney biopsies, port/line placements, drain placements, para/thoracentesis, kyphoplasty, and sedation support for MRI and CT departments

Day shift: 8:00 AM – 5:30 PM

Weekday and weekend on-call rotation required

13-week contract

Minimum 6 months of current acute care IR Tech experience

Active ARRT (R) and current BLS (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)

Strong organizational skills

No gaps in work history totaling 90 days or more in the past 12 months

Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible — no local candidates accepted

Preferred candidates will have critical care and IR experience along with expert knowledge of vascular procedures

Facility is a Magnet-designated hospital with low overall nursing turnover
