With our expansion to Tacoma, we are looking for additional Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioners to join our growing team.
Position
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP-BC) to join our outpatient private practice.
This position offers part-time to full-time flexibility, with the opportunity to start 2–3 days per week and grow to 4–5 days based on provider preference and patient demand.
Regular clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
Providers may work at our Kent location, Tacoma location, or a combination of both, depending on preference and practice needs. Hybrid scheduling is available, with opportunities to provide both in-person and telehealth care.
Both experienced PMHNPs and new graduates are welcome to apply. We provide mentorship, administrative support, and ongoing assistance to help new providers establish and grow their patient caseload.
Compensation Model
- Percentage-based compensation dependent on insurance panels and caseload
- Estimated earnings: $100–$180 per hour

Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, patient-centered psychiatric care
- Conduct comprehensive psychiatric and cognitive assessments
- Diagnose and treat a variety of mental health conditions
- Develop individualized treatment plans
- Prescribe and manage psychotropic medications safely and effectively
- Monitor patient progress and adjust treatment plans as appropriate
- Provide mental health education to patients and families
- Build trusting relationships with patients, families, and caregivers
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, therapists, physicians, and other healthcare providers
- Maintain accurate, timely, and HIPAA-compliant documentation
- Demonstrate professionalism, integrity, and clinical excellence
- Participate in ongoing education and professional development
Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted Washington State ARNP license or eligibility to obtain one
- Current DEA registration or eligibility to obtain one
- ANCC PMHNP-BC certification
- Graduate degree from an accredited PMHNP program
- PMHNP experience preferred but not required
- New graduates are encouraged to apply
- Strong foundation in psychiatric assessment, diagnosis, and psychopharmacology
- Familiarity with non-pharmacological interventions
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
