Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and knowledgeable NYS Licensed Hearing Aid Dispenser to join our Audiology practice. Bilingual Spanish is a must.
Duties
- Recommend suitable hearing aids and assist patients with selection, fitting, and programming of devices
- Educate patients on device usage, maintenance, and care to ensure optimal performance
- Collaborate with audiologists and other healthcare professionals to develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Perform routine follow-ups to monitor device performance and patient satisfaction
- Stay informed about advancements in hearing aid technology and occupational health standards to provide up-to-date care
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physiology, anatomy, and physiology related to the auditory system
- Excellent patient service skills with a compassionate approach to diverse populations, including pediatrics.
- Understanding of occupational health practices relevant to audiology settings.
- Ability to take earmold impressions
