We are looking for a new addition to our team; ideally, someone who can work 14-20 hours per week(less or more depending on your need/availability). You will be starting off at $19/hr plus tip compensation. We require employees to be 21+ due to the sale of tobacco and nicotine products.
We provide full service on half of our station's pumps and assist all guests with their cars by:
1. Checking and filling oil, tires, and wiper fluid
2. Cleaning windshields, windows, and mirrors
3. Providing a friendly and helpful attitude toward our valued customers
No prior training is required and flexible scheduling makes the job perfect for students and those with second jobs. We are closed on major holidays(Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Years) and have limited hours on others . Hours of operation are 7am-6pm M-F and Saturdays 8-5 & Sundays 9-3. Pay is hourly, but tips are consistent.
A majority of the job will require you to be responsible for accepting customer payments for gas and store goods, and at times, will require assisting with station organization, cleanliness and maintenance. You will work along with 1-2 other station attendants and are paid for the training period.
All duties include:
1. Greeting customers and answering their questions
2. Assist customers with vehicle questions and "full service" as noted above
3. Clean gas pumps, islands, spills and store
4. Conduct routine inspections on the conditions of nozzles, hoses, etc.
5. Operating cash register
6. Counting cash and performing sales on a regular basis
7. Fueling cars, checking dipsticks, tire pressure but mostly cleaning vehicle windows
8. Merchandise Stocking 9. Setting alarm and locking up the station or opening the station for business 10. Productivity-There is commonly small tasks to complete such as restocking, organizing, and assisting self-service guests with small requests such as: card swipe issues, tire pressure, and window cleaning.
Looking for new employee(s) to begin in the next 2-4 weeks on a fixed schedule until the school quarter/semester starts in which the schedule is reassessed accordingly. Vacation and sick PTO after 90 days. Feel free to call us with any questions.
