Exact Staff is hiring for our client, one of the nation's leading flower distributors. We are seeking a dependable and skilled Maintenance Technician to join a high-speed manufacturing operation in City of Industry, CA. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with maintenance experience in automated production environments who is looking for long-term employment with room for growth.
This position is ideal for candidates with experience maintaining conveyor systems, robotics, palletizers, box formers, and other automated production equipment.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Perform routine inspections of production equipment and facility systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical and electrical equipment issues
- Assist with preventive and corrective maintenance
- Support senior maintenance technicians with repairs and equipment servicing
- Identify and report safety concerns
- Analyze equipment failures and help implement corrective solutions
- Assist with small maintenance projects to improve equipment reliability
- Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout practices
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or technical training in Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, Robotics, or a related field
- At least 1 year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment or equivalent technical training
- Experience with conveyor systems, robotics, palletizers, or automated production equipment preferred
- Bilingual in English and Spanish required
- Familiar with lockout/tagout procedures
- Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics
- HVAC knowledge is a plus (cold storage environment)
- Welding, machining, or fabrication experience is a plus
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and 10-12 hour shifts during peak season
Pay, Schedule, and Location
- Pay Rate: $25.00/hr
- Schedule: Full-Time | Temp-to-Hire
- Shift: Day Shift | Monday-Friday
- Overtime: Must be available to work overtime and weekends as needed
- Location: City of Industry, CA
