Job Summary:
We are seeking dedicated and passionate Registered Behavior Technicians (RBT) to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, such as autism, and will provide behavioral therapy services in a supportive and nurturing environment. The successful applicant will have strong communication skills and be able to adapt and implement individualized care plans.
Duties:
- Provide behavioral therapy services to individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism, in a variety of settings.
- Implement and maintain individualized care plans in collaboration with the treatment team.
- Utilize behavioral health principles and strategies to promote positive behaviors and social skills.
- Assist with patient care and daily living activities, such as personal care, feeding, and medication management.
- Collect and document medical records and behavioral data in a HIPAA-compliant manner.
- Develop and maintain accurate and detailed medical documentation and medical records.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure continuity of care and adherence to treatment plans.
- Educate patients and their families on behavioral health strategies and techniques.
- Provide support and guidance to working people and families, addressing their specific needs and concerns.
Experience:
- Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, including autism and other behavioral health conditions.
- Strong understanding of medical terminology and behavioral health principles.
- Familiarity with HIPAA regulations and medical documentation procedures.
- Proven ability to develop and implement individualized care plans.
- Experience with patient care and daily living activities.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a treatment team.
- Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $15.00 - $20.00 per hour
