We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Medical Billing to join our team and help ensure accurate and timely billing operations.
Responsibilities:
· Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing
· Assign appropriate ICD-10 and codes to diagnoses and procedures
· Verify patient information and insurance coverage for billing purposes
· Submit claims to insurance companies and follow up on unpaid or denied claims
· Communicate with healthcare providers to resolve billing discrepancies or obtain missing information
Requirements and Skills:
·Must have experience as a medical billing and coding specialist
·Must be bilingual (English & Spanish).
· Impeccable organizational skills.
· Computer proficiency
· Multitasker.
· Knowledge of medical insurance.
· Attention to detail.
· Medisoft & Practice Fusion experience a PLUS.
· Must be able to work on Saturdays.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40.0 per week
