About the Role
As a CNC Machining Specialist, you will serve as a technical expert responsible for the precision setup, programming, and optimization of multi-axis CNC lathes and mills. You will play a critical role in driving production efficiency by troubleshooting complex mechanical issues and mentoring team members to ensure high-quality output.
Responsibilities-
Execute complex setups and advanced adjustments on CNC equipment, including Mazak, Doosan, INDEX, and Nakamura systems, to achieve precise manufacturing tolerances.

Develop and refine CNC programs and tooling strategies to maximize production throughput and minimize cycle times.

Perform rigorous first-piece inspections and utilize precision measurement tools like micrometers and calipers to guarantee product quality.

Provide technical leadership and hands-on training to machine operators to foster a culture of continuous improvement and safety.

Document production data and machine performance within ERP systems to maintain accurate inventory and process records.

Proactively identify and implement process enhancements to reduce setup times and improve overall machining methods.

Conduct preventative maintenance on equipment to ensure long-term reliability and minimize unplanned downtime.
Qualifications-
5+ years of hands-on experience in CNC machining, including multi-turret and multi-axis systems.

Advanced proficiency in reading and interpreting complex blueprints and technical schematics.

Strong working knowledge of GD&T, CNC programming, and tooling optimization.

Proven ability to troubleshoot mechanical and programming challenges in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with continuous improvement methodologies such as Lean or Six Sigma.

Demonstrated success in a leadership or mentorship capacity within a shop floor environment.

Technical certification or advanced training in CNC machining or mechanical engineering.
