As an Activities Assistant, you’ll play a key role in enriching the lives of our residents by coordinating and leading both group and individual activities designed to promote engagement, independence, and well-being. You’ll work alongside other team members to:
Lead recreational, sensory, or therapeutic activities tailored to residents' needs and abilities
Encourage resident participation and provide companionship
Assist with planning and executing facility-wide events
Transport and escort residents to and from activity areas or community outings
Maintain and organize activity supplies and materials
Support meal assistance and one-on-one resident visits
Supervise and guide volunteers during activity programs
High school diploma or GED required
Previous experience in a long-term care or assisted living setting preferred
Interest or background in recreation, social work, or healthcare support roles is a plus
Strong communication skills and a positive, patient-centered attitude
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Commitment to fostering a safe, respectful, and welcoming environment
