Bynog’s Tree Service is looking for an experienced and safety-conscious Grapple Truck Operator to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating a grapple truck to load and transport logs, brush, and tree debris while maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Responsibilities
Safely operate a grapple truck to load, haul, and unload logs, brush, and tree debris.
Transport materials to designated disposal or processing sites.
Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the truck and equipment.
Conduct routine maintenance, including checking fluid levels, greasing equipment, and reporting mechanical issues.
Work closely with tree crews to keep job sites running efficiently.
Secure loads and ensure compliance with DOT regulations.
Maintain accurate vehicle inspection logs and required documentation.
Follow all company safety policies and procedures.
Qualifications
Valid CDL (Class A or B, depending on state requirements) with a clean driving record.
Experience operating a grapple truck or similar heavy equipment preferred.
Knowledge of DOT regulations and safe driving practices.
Ability to perform physical labor when needed, including assisting the crew on the ground.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
Reliable, punctual, and safety-oriented.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the tree service, logging, or forestry industry.
Basic mechanical knowledge for equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
Experience operating loaders or other heavy equipment is a plus.
