Activities Coordinator
Best Care Senior Living of Sebring, an Assisted Living Facility, is seeking an Activities Director. This is a full-time position. MUST be able to work weekdays as needed, MUST have experience in activities working with elderly, Dementia and Alzheimer's Residents in assisted living or nursing home setting. EXPERIENCED ONLY need apply. Individual must be outgoing, energetic, and creative. Must be able to pass drug test and background check.
Job Description
Best Care Senior Living of Sebring is seeking a caring, responsible, and qualified Activity Director to join our assisted living facility in Sebring.
Best Care Senior Living is an organization delivering compassionate care to our residents. As an Activity Director you will be responsible for developing, planning and implementing activity programs for the residents, as well as engaging the residents in activities. Similar experience working with elderly, Dementia and Alzheimer's residents required. It is essential to have time management skills, an outgoing attitude, to be flexible, and want to work as part of a team.
Responsibilities Include
- Plan, develop, organize, implement, evaluate, and direct the activity programs.
- Participate in community planning to serve the needs and interest of the residents.
- Responsible for administrative tasks (i.e., Activity Calendar, monthly newsletter, etc.
- Arrange and provide transportation for outings; Assist residents on outings.
- Assist residents with purchases during outings
- Represent Best Care Senior Living of Sebring in a professional, customer service oriented manner.
Job Requirements
- Must be able to multi-task and work in a fast paced environment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills and the ability to work as a team.
- Previous experience in long term care or senior care preferred, but will train qualified applicants who possess the above mentioned skills.
- Must be punctual and have a good attendance history.

Pay: $18.00 - $19.00 per hour
