About the Role
This is more than a bookkeeping position. As our Accounting Specialist, you'll play a vital role in the daily success of the business by overseeing accounting functions, supporting office operations, coordinating employee benefits and payroll, and assisting with shipping, receiving, and inventory processes. You'll work closely with leadership while serving as a trusted resource for both employees and vendors.

What You'll Do
- Manage full-cycle bookkeeping and daily accounting functions
- Process accounts payable and accounts receivable
- Reconcile bank statements, credit cards, and financial records
- Maintain accurate financial reports and support month-end processes
- Utilize QuickBooks for daily accounting operations
- Assist with receiving merchandise and matching invoices, memos, and purchase documentation
- Coordinate office supplies and administrative functions
- Support payroll, PTO tracking, and employee recordkeeping
- Communicate professionally with customers, vendors, and team members regarding accounting-related matters
- Assist with special projects and provide operational support as needed
- Work closely with leadership to maintain organized and efficient business operations
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of full-cycle bookkeeping or accounting experience
- Bachelor's degree preferred; equivalent professional experience will be considered
- CPA or additional accounting certifications are a plus
- Proficiency in QuickBooks is required
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Jewelry or luxury retail experience is highly preferred but not required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail
- Ability to prioritize multiple responsibilities while maintaining accuracy and confidentiality
Compensation & Benefits
- $40,000 - $70,000 based on experience & expertise
