Assistant Manager needed for our beautiful Apartment Community, offering excellent hourly pay PLUS COMMISSIONS.
Apartment Community is looking for an energetic and self-motivated Assistant Manager to join our staff. This position will assist Property Manager in reporting, rent processing, and overseeing the community in the absence of the Manager. Someone with excellent marketing skills to help make our community successful, superior customer service, strong sales and leasing experience. Also must be able to work weekends if needed.
Essential Job Functions:
- Attract new residents and have thorough knowledge in all phases of leasing apartments
- Leasing job duties, including tours with prospective residents and preparation of lease agreements
- Assists in lease renewals and prepares new lease paperwork
- Strong marketing of the apartment community , local businesses and corporate outreach programs and be Responsible for "shopping" competitive properties
- Assist in posting rent, collections on delinquency, eviction processes, and bad debt collections
- Assist in Move-ins and Move-outs
- Administrative duties and adhere to established guidelines and policies
- Computer skills (including Microsoft office, Excel, and Property Management software programs).
Requirements:
- At least 2 years of experience in Apartment Property Management
- Strong Marketing Skills
- Superior Customer Service oriented
- Ability to Multi Task or work independently
- Efficient in MS, Excel, Outlook and Property Management Software Programs
- Social Media Savvy
