Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:
- Perform all duties for weekly storytimes, as directed. Assists in planning and implementing Library programs for children. Work at service desk performing all required duties of front desk operations. Supervise arts and crafts projects. Assist Library patrons at service desk with book returns and checkouts, payment of fines, and completing Library card application and hold request forms. Assist patrons in locating materials and information, both adults and children. Maintain the order and cleanliness of Library areas and holdings. Perform other duties as assigned.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:Education, training and Experience Guidelines:High school diploma or equivalent. Six months of full-time related experience. OR Any equivalent combination of experience, education and/or Training that provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities. Must be 18 years or older.Knowledge of: Library administration, organization, and operation. Library reference resources. Customer service methods and techniques. Computer library resources. Dewey Decimal classification in order to shelve and locate books.

Monday, 9:30am – 2pm
Tuesday, Thursday, Friday 10am-2pm
Some Saturday Schedule rotation may apply
Opportunities to substitute for other shifts when needed/available

Salary range: $7.25-$9.00/hour
