THE OPPORTUNITY
We are looking for an HR Generalist to join our HR Team to help support the people, processes, and communication that keep ER2 moving forward well. This role supports team members across all ER2 locations (AZ, CA, FL, IA, TN, and TX — approximately 175 team members and growing).
We are seeking someone with strong HR experience, particularly within:
- Benefits administration
- Leave management
- Payroll-related support
- Team member relations
- HR operations and compliance
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys balancing meaningful people interaction with detailed administrative execution. Some days require deep administrative focus, while others require, adaptability, coaching, problem-solving, and steady communication.
Our ideal candidate is someone who naturally brings calm, clarity, accountability, and support into the environments around them.
Schedule: Monday – Friday | 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (additional hours as business needs require)
Location: Mesa, AZ | In-Office Position
Reports To: Chief People Officer
Compensation: $65,000 – $75,000 annually DOE

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer benefits, leave processes, payroll-related support, and HR documentation
- Serve as a resource for team members and leaders regarding HR questions and support
- Assist with employee relations, workplace concerns, coaching conversations, and performance documentation
- Support recruiting, onboarding, and training coordination
- Help maintain compliance, policies, records, and HR systems
- Partner with internal teams and vendors to resolve issues and improve processes
- Identify opportunities to improve communication, efficiency, and team member experience
- Support engagement initiatives and internal HR operations
THE VITALS
- 3+ years of HR Generalist experience required
- Experience with benefits administration, leave management, and payroll-related processes strongly preferred
- Solid understanding of employment laws and compliance requirements
- Experience with HRIS systems (BambooHR preferred)
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and professionalism
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Ability to speak/read English fluently
- Legally authorized to work in the United States
