Position Summary
The Cluster Director of Revenue Management leads revenue management and collaborates closely with the sales & marketing functions for a two-property cluster. This individual will be responsible for driving top-line performance through strategic planning, collaboration, and execution across all commercial disciplines for all four properties, optimizing business mix and rate strategy across a multi-brand, single-market cluster spanning full-service, select-service, extended-stay, and lifestyle segments. This role partners closely with the Corporate Director of Revenue Management to ensure alignment with portfolio-wide commercial strategy.
Position Duties and Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and monitor revenue management strategies, collaborating closely with Sales and Marketing leadership to optimize performance across all four properties across all distribution and reservation channels.
- Optimize room rates, availability, and inventory in accordance with brand and company guidelines to maximize occupancy, ADR, and RevPAR at each property.
- Lead weekly Revenue Strategy Meetings for each hotel, covering rate and inventory strategy, transient and group pace, competitive positioning, total revenue strategies and financial forecasts.
- Optimize business mix and displacement decisions across the cluster, and analyze market trends, competitor behavior, and STR reports to direct demand to the appropriate property and brand and maximize total cluster revenue.
- Partner closely with property-level sales, marketing, and operations teams across all four hotels to ensure consistent execution of commercial strategies and achievement of revenue targets.
- Prepare and manage weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts; conduct displacement analysis for group, contract, and negotiated business opportunities across the cluster.
- Collaborate with hotel ownership, corporate leadership, and operations teams to develop budgets, forecasts, and strategic plans, and stay involved in all aspects of monthly reforecasting for all four properties.
- Serve as the primary liaison between the four properties and the Corporate Director of Revenue Management, ensuring alignment on strategy, reporting, and brand standards.
- Drives business evaluation process for all negotiated Business Transient offerings, group rooms, and group opportunities that include Banquet & Catering (B&C) functions across the cluster, and facilitates all daily and weekly Sales, Revenue, and Daily Business Reviews for the cluster.
- Stay ahead of industry trends and shifts in group, transient, and extended-stay demand, integrating insights into strategy across the full-service, select-service, and extended-stay segments represented in the cluster.
- Champion a culture of continuous improvement, innovation, and high performance within the commercial organization.
Knowledge and Skill
- Minimum 3-5 years of progressive experience in hotel revenue management, sales, and marketing.
- Multi-brand experience required, including revenue management systems GRO for the Hilton property and One Yield for the Marriott-branded properties
- Delphi sales experience a plus for the Hilton property.
- Previous experience with systems such as Kalibri, TravelClick Agency/Demand 360, and OTA Insight/Lighthouse a plus.
- Experience managing a mix of full-service, select-service, extended-stay, and lifestyle brands within a single market preferred.
- Proven ability to manage and influence cross-functional teams across multiple properties in a matrixed environment.
- Strong analytical, financial acumen, and data-driven decision-making capabilities.
- Ability to adapt quickly to changing market dynamics and to balance competing priorities across multiple brands in the same market.
- Strong knowledge of industry KPIs such as RevPAR, GOPPAR, RPI, ROGR, ROAS, and $POR, and the strategies that optimize their performance.
Qualifications
- Multi-property/cluster and multi-brand (Hilton and Marriott) revenue management experience strongly preferred.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing, distribution, and e-commerce strategies in the hospitality space, and ability to travel locally between the four properties as well as to support corporate initiatives.
Pay: $100,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
