What You'll Do
As the Quality Inspection Supervisor, you will serve as both a leader and technical resource for your team, ensuring products meet the highest standards of quality and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of quality inspection professionals.
- Foster a culture of accountability, quality, safety, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure quality programs and processes support business objectives and customer expectations.
- Conduct quality audits, investigations, and root-cause analyses to drive corrective actions.
- Act as a technical resource and troubleshoot process interruptions and quality concerns.
- Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training new team members.
- Evaluate employee performance and provide ongoing coaching and development.
- Support Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, SPC, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Partner cross-functionally with production, engineering, and operations teams to improve processes and product quality.
- Maintain a safe, organized, and productive work environment.
We're Looking For:
Required
- Associate degree in a related field or equivalent leadership experience.
- Previous supervisory or team leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Experience with continuous improvement initiatives, SPC techniques, Lean Manufacturing principles, or Six Sigma methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving, communication, and employee development skills.
Preferred
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related discipline.
- Six Sigma certification.
- Experience in quality management, manufacturing operations, or industrial production environments.
