- Provide hands-on physiotherapy treatments such as trigger point therapy, orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, and post-surgical rehabilitation
- Assist patients with exercises and mobility techniques to improve strength, flexibility, and functional independence
- Document patient progress accurately using electronic medical records (EMR systems) and ensure compliance with healthcare standards
- Educate patients and their families on physiotherapy techniques, injury prevention, and home care strategies
- Support acute care interventions by applying physiology knowledge and understanding of medical terminology to optimize treatment outcomes
Experience
- Proven experience working in outpatient clinics with a focus on orthopedics, geriatrics, pediatrics, or general physiotherapy
- Familiarity with discharge planning processes and developing comprehensive care plans for diverse patient populations
- Knowledge of anatomy and physiology principles essential for effective treatment planning and execution
- Experience utilizing EMR systems for documentation and patient record management
- Prior involvement in acute care settings demonstrating the ability to adapt quickly to changing patient needs
- Strong understanding of medical terminology related to physiotherapy practices
