The Canvasser has:
- Interest in progressive causes and campaigns.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; ability to manage priorities and workflow.
- Strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to deal effectively with a diversity of individuals at all organizational levels.
- Good judgment, with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.
Position Duties:
- Under the direction of the City Manager, the Canvasser will be responsible for direct voter contact in their assigned turf.
- Hits daily and weekly goals as part of the field program as directed by the City Manager.
- Lifts trends or responses that are heard in the field that relate to the overall program goals.
- Ability to have effective conversations about issues with a variety of audiences.
- Is flexible and can adapt their communication strategy based on programmatic changes.
- Collects required data during voter registration and doors and reports data at assigned times or when requested by management.
- Reports throughout the day to the City Manager during site-based voter registration and daily during canvassing.
- Comfortable using the assigned technology and is timely on filling out daily reports.
- Completes assigned duties thoroughly and correctly.
- Participates in training as directed by City Managers.
- Participates in launch meetings.

Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour
