Job Description:
The position is responsible for providing technical product and remote field support coordination for new product launches in data center diesel powered generator set applications as well as support for installations of High Horsepower engines greater than 15L. Candidates will work closely with factory and engineering counterparts to address short-term and long-term solutions for issues that arise. The candidate will support product launches in North Amer i can and International markets. Ideal candidates will have previous experience with Cummins Inc. service engineering, field support and product launches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interface with Cummins Distribution Network providing remote field service support to ensure support requests are understood and acted upon.
- Assist in shipment requests for replacement parts to sites provided by the factory.
- Serve as a connection point with Cummins Field Service Engineers (CFSEs) to bring additional field support requests back to the factory.
- Submit Before In Service warranty claims back to relevant engine and genset plants.
- Track each customer installation once support request actions transition to formalized field actions.
- Provide oversight to customer installation commissioning activities if needed.
Serve as the initial factory point of contact working with CFSEs to initially support all incoming requests.

Education/Experience:
- BS in Engineering or equivalent
- Minimum 5 years experience
