Arrowood Designs, a commercial cabinet & millwork company, located in Norwood, NC near Lake Tillery, is looking for a "Can Do" Manager with a Planning and Organizational Mentality, that is interested in taking on a Leadership role as part of our Management Team. We would prefer Full Time, but will consider Part Time. What is most important to us is FINDING THE RIGHT PERSON. We will consider Flexible Hours depending on your needs.
The focus of this position is to maximize our Operations and Quality by holding our staff Accountable for their Performance. To achieve this, you will:
- Review Daily Production Expectations
- Interact with Our Project Managers to meet their Job Site Requirements
- Monitor Product Quality
- Oversee our Purchasing Person
- Hiring and Firing of Staff
- Interact with Design Engineers to assure Best Design
Although a background in millwork or woodworking would be nice, People Management, Planning and Organization skills are the primary requirements for this position. You must have management experience to be considered for this position.
This job requires a Big Picture Mentality and a great deal of interaction with other members of our team, including Project Managers, Production, Purchasing Agent and Design Engineers and they will expect you to be as committed to Excellence as they are. As stated above, we are willing to go outside of our Industry to find the right person with People Management experience, Organizational Skills and most importantly a "Can Do" attitude.
Pay Rate will be based on your experience and ability. Relocation assistance and/or temporary housing is a possibility.
Arrowood works as a sub contractor primarily for large, sometimes multi billion dollar, commercial construction companies in the Mid Atlantic and Southeastern US. We also work on US Government Projects nationwide. Our office is extremely casual, but our Industry demands that our work be very Professional.
