Chicago Cardiology Institute is GROWING and offering new diagnostic services for our patients.
Responsibilities
Performs Diagnostic Radiographic Procedures according to practice protocols, local regulatory/CMS, State and Federal Regulations. Functions as the first line interface with customers and is successful in the accomplishment of their imaging needs.
Duties include:
- Explain imaging procedures/equipment and answering questions/concerns that patients may have in a calm, compassionate manner to ease anxiety or nerves patients may have about imaging.
- Preparing equipment and room for patient exams, operate
- Positioning and monitoring patients during imaging while obtaining quality images
- Maintains order and conditions of work environment including checking operating condition of equipment, ensures cleanliness of exam rooms, stocks supplies, etc. in accordance with company standards and procedures.
- Ensuring safety of patients during exams.
Qualifications:
EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, TRAINING
- ARRT-R is required
- Current BCLS
- At least one year of clinical experience as a Radiologist Technologist preferred.
- Proficient computer skills.
