We are a private multidisciplinary dental office with an AMAZING team who just moved to a BEAUTIFUL brand new office in Pleasanton. We were voted BEST DENTIST in Dublin in 2025 and are bringing that same elevated level of care to our Pleasanton location.

REQUIREMENTS:
- At least 2 years experience as an orthodontic assistant
- At least 1 year experience in general
- OAP/RDA required
- Experience with Open Dental software PREFERRED
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ortho records: Taking intra/extra-oral photos, xrays, alginate impressions, iTero Lumina 3D scans
- Ortho chairside skills: Placing separators, Removing wires, Ligating wires - lacing, steel ties, covert molar tubes, etc., Invisalign attachments, Preparing & isolating teeth for bonding, Sizing and preparing for lower fixed retainers.
- General records: Taking PA, BW, Pano xrays, Intraoral photos
- General chairside skills: assisting chairside for restorative treatment
- Lab work: Pouring & trimming models, Fabricating Essix retainers
- Patient education: Oral hygiene instructions, Elastics instructions and compliance assessment, Appliance instructions (braces, Invisalign, expanders, etc.)
- Other responsibilities: Setting up/Breaking down patient rooms, Sterilization, Maintaining a clean, sanitary, organized, and safe working environment, helping with patient charting and reviewing attached treatment codes.
HOURS:
- Tuesdays 8:40 AM - 5:40 PM
- Wednesdays 9:40 AM - 6:15 PM
- Thursdays 8:20AM - 5:00 PM
- Some flexibility with hours
- Potential to add more days and grow into a full-time position depending on skills, experience, availability, willingness to cross train with General Dentistry team and/or Admin team. Pay: $28.00 - $35.00 per hour
