Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival and provide attentive seating assistance as a host or hostess when needed
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS, ensuring clarity and completeness
- Serve food and drinks efficiently, including cocktail and spirits service, maintaining high standards of presentation and safety
- Process cash and card transactions smoothly, including sales upselling to enhance guest experience and increase revenue
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables promptly and assisting with food handling and preparation when necessary
- Provide knowledgeable wine, beverage, and menu recommendations to enhance guest satisfaction
- Ensure food safety protocols are followed during food handling, serving, and sanitation procedures
Experience
- Previous food service experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is advantageous
- Experience with fine dining or upscale environments is a plus
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to build guest relations and handle diverse needs effectively
- Proven ability to manage time efficiently in a busy setting while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of wine, spirits, cocktail preparation, and beverage service techniques is desirable
- Basic math skills for processing transactions accurately and managing cash handling responsibilities

Pay: From $2.13 per hour
