ROLE DESCRIPTION
As a Drafter in the BR+ Architecture Department, you will work under the direction and supervision of the Head of the Architecture Department. You will be responsible for preparing accurate architectural drawings, construction documents, and technical detailing based on project requirements, design intent, applicable building codes, and company standards. You will collaborate with architects and multidisciplinary teams to ensure the timely and accurate development of design and construction documentation throughout all project phases.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
General
Coordinating with Designers and Architect for revisions.
Maintaining drawing records and documentation.
Supporting project development from concept to completion.
Executing multiple projects at the same time.
Attending project meetings, as necessary.
Work toward BR+ vision and goals.
Maintaining professional relationships with clients, consultants, and other relevant stakeholders.
As a Drafter you will be responsible for:
- Preparing architectural drawings, plans, elevations, sections, details, and construction documents using CAD software.
- Ensuring all drawings comply with project requirements, applicable building codes, company standards, and quality control procedures.
- Assisting in the development and maintenance of architectural drafting standards, templates, and drawing libraries.
- Conducting site visits to verify existing conditions, collect field measurements, and support project documentation as required.
- Producing accurate architectural drawings and construction documents for internal review, client approval, permitting, and construction.
- Revising and updating drawings based on comments and direction from architects, project managers, consultants, and clients.
- Coordinating architectural drawings with structural, civil, mechanical and electrical disciplines to ensure design consistency and constructability.
- Maintaining organized project files and ensuring all drawing revisions are properly documented and controlled.
- Performing other related duties as assigned by the Head of the Architecture Department or immediate supervisor.

Qualifications – Education & Experience
- Associate’s Degree or Technical Certification in Drafting.
- 5-10 years of experience in electrical drafting or a similar role.
