Xactimate Estimator Job File Coordinator – Restoration Industry
Salary: $60,000–$70,000 Base (Top candidates with extensive experience may earn more)

Are you an experienced Xactimate Estimator Job File Coordinator looking for an opportunity to use your skills in a primarily office-based role? We are seeking a detail-oriented professional to prepare accurate mitigation estimates while supporting job file coordination for a growing restoration company.
This is not a daily field position. You'll spend the majority of your time in the office creating estimates from digital documentation and working closely with insurance professionals, customers, and internal teams to keep projects moving efficiently.
What You'll Do
- Prepare accurate mitigation estimates using Xactimate.
- Build estimates from Docusketch scans (Matterport experience is easily transferable).
- Review documentation to ensure complete and accurate job files.
- Communicate with insurance adjusters, customers, and internal staff throughout the claims process.
- Assist with job file coordination to ensure projects are properly documented and compliant.
- Maintain organized, detailed records and support timely project billing.
Qualifications
- Experience writing estimates in Xactimate is required.
- Restoration industry experience in water, fire, mold, or mitigation preferred.
- Experience working with insurance adjusters and customers is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
- Experience with Docusketch is preferred but Matterport experience is an easy transition and training will be provided.
- Current insurance adjusters looking to transition into the restoration industry are encouraged to apply.
