Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Manufacturing packer to join our production team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of manufacturing equipment, maintaining product quality, and assisting with various production tasks. This role requires meticulous attention to detail, a strong commitment to safety protocols, and the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Duties/Responsibilities:
· Equipment Safety: Ensure the safe operation of manufacturing equipment by following established safety guidelines and procedures. Identify and report any potential safety hazards or equipment malfunctions promptly to the manager on duty.
· Packaging: Ensure that product is packaged in accordance with established quality and product standards. excellent manual dexterity is an important part of the Inspector Packer role, as some assembly can require working with small, detailed objects.
· Quality Assurance: While packing product, will inspect for visible defects such as contamination, bad trim, high seams, holes, or any other defects. Report any defect to machine operator.
· Boxing & Labeling: After packing product, will seal and label each of the boxes/containers properly using tape gun then move the completed packages for loading either onto a pallet or to a staging area for shipping Lifting boxes that weight 40-50lbs regularly.
· End of Job: Support machine operator with any task needed at end a work order. This includes cleaning, returning materials, and completing any assigned paperwork.
· Housekeeping: Keep the area around the workstation clean and organized. Perform any other duties assigned to you by the machine operator.
· Fulfillment: May work at wh2 on occasion as needed.
Required Skills:
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
· Flexibility to take on additional duties and responsibilities as assigned.
· Flexibility to work weekends when needed.
Qualifications:
· Prior experience in manufacturing or production environment preferred.
· Attendance be here on time every day to support the team.
· Strong attention to detail and ability to follow precise instructions.
· Basic understanding of equipment operation and maintenance.
· Strong commitment to safety protocols and guidelines.
· Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and lift moderate weights.
