Generator Electrician / Generac Service Technician

WingatePower is growing, and we're looking for an experienced electrician, generator installer, or Generac service technician to join our team.
If you know generators, electrical systems, and troubleshooting, we want to talk to you.
What You'll Do
- Install Generac standby generators and automatic transfer switches
- Perform electrical connections, startups, and testing
- Troubleshoot and repair generator systems
- Perform preventive maintenance and service
- Diagnose faults, alarms, and electrical issues
- Work on residential and commercial generator systems
- Complete work orders and communicate professionally with customers
What We're Looking For
- Electrical or generator installation/service experience
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Knowledge of electrical panels, transfer switches, and wiring
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and schematics
- Valid driver's license
- Dependable, professional, and able to work as part of a team
Generac certification is preferred but not required. Experienced electricians who want to specialize in standby power and become Generac certified are encouraged to apply.
Pay
$25–$30/hour depending on experience and certifications.
