Industrial Sewer
We are currently looking for an Industrial Sewer to join our manufacturing team in Frankfort. This role offers a competitive pay range of $20 to $24 per hour, depending on your level of experience. While this position begins as a temporary assignment, there is a clear pathway to transition into a full-time role.
Role Overview
Our Frankfort-based manufacturing partner is seeking a skilled professional with a background in sewing soft goods and heavy materials, such as leather. We are also happy to consider versatile sewing professionals who are interested in part-time work, provided you can commit to at least 25 hours per week within our standard operating schedule.
Key Responsibilities-
Interpret technical drawings, patterns, work orders, and Standard Operating Procedures to ensure production accuracy.

Execute sewing tasks for standard products and subcomponents by strictly adhering to established work instructions.

Ensure consistency across all items by following approved samples, templates, and patterns.

Utilize various tools, including bag sealers, drills, and measuring tapes, to assist in the efficient packaging of finished goods.

Support the production workflow by pulling and staging necessary materials.

Perform quality checks to verify that completed work meets our high standards.

Maintain precise documentation of all finished production tasks.

Keep your designated workspace organized and tidy to promote a safe and efficient environment.

Schedule

Monday through Thursday, 7:00 am to 5:30 pm.

Part-time arrangements are available for those who can work a minimum of 25 hours per week within the listed shift hours.
Requirements

Proven experience working as a professional sewer.

Demonstrated ability to comprehend complex work orders, technical patterns, and SOPs.

Hands-on experience working with heavy-duty fabrics.

401(k) Details
Employees are eligible for the 401(k) program after completing one year of service with at least 1,000 hours worked, provided they are at least 21 years of age.
