Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. As a Certified Medical Assistant, you will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities:
- Perform vital signs measurements such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration
- Administer medications as directed by healthcare providers
- Assist with medical procedures and treatments
- Prepare patients for examinations and assist during examinations
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Provide medical administrative support, including scheduling appointments, managing patient information, and handling billing processes
- Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
- Assist with X-ray procedures (if certified)
- Provide excellent patient service and address patient inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally
- Collaborate with healthcare team members to deliver comprehensive patient care
- Scribing for the provider
Qualifications:
- Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) certification required
- Proficient in medical terminology and anatomy knowledge
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to effectively communicate with patients, healthcare providers, and other team members
- Experience in medication administration and coding preferred
- Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR) systems
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and professionalism
