Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and energetic teacher to join our vibrant early childhood education team! This vital role offers a morning schedule, 11:30-6:15. Duties
- Support classroom teachers by assisting with lesson planning, curriculum development, and implementing educational activities aligned with early childhood education standards.
- Engage with children through age-appropriate activities that promote literacy, math skills, physical education, and social-emotional development.
- Help manage classroom behavior using positive behavior management techniques to foster a respectful and inclusive environment.
- Assist with infant and toddler care routines, including diapering, feeding, and nap times, ensuring safety and comfort at all times.
- Supervise children during indoor and outdoor play, ensuring safety protocols are followed and encouraging active participation.
- Support classroom organization by preparing materials, setting up learning stations, and maintaining cleanliness to promote an effective learning environment.
- Collaborate with team members to adapt lessons for children with special needs or those requiring individualized early intervention strategies.
Experience
- Prior experience working with children in daycare, preschool, or private school settings is highly preferred.
- Demonstrated knowledge of childhood development principles and experience with curriculum development tailored to early learners.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques and behavior management strategies in diverse educational environments.
- Experience in teaching physical education, literacy education, or tutoring young children is advantageous.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with colleagues, parents, and caregivers while maintaining a positive attitude.
