About Us.
We are a brand-new, modern outpatient behavioral health clinic located in Windsor Mill, Maryland, designed from the ground up to provide exceptional, client-centered mental health care. Our mission is straightforward: to deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy while supporting clinicians with flexibility, manageable autonomy, and a healthy caseload.
The clinic is positioned for rapid growth, with a minimum expectation of 20 clients per week, a strong/increasing referral pipeline, and a hybrid (in-person and telehealth) treatment model/option.
Position Summary.
We are seeking an experienced, licensed LCPC or LCSW-C (or equivalent Counseling Compact–eligible license) to join our team as a Licensed Behavioral Health Counselor. This role is ideal for clinicians who are highly skilled, independent, and passionate about building a strong clinical culture in a new practice setting.
This role is hybrid or in-person sessions at our Windsor Mill office and 60% telehealth sessions. Clinicians have the flexibility to build their schedule, grow a specialty area, and help shape the direction of a new and innovative clinic.
Key Responsibilities.
- Provide individual, family, and/or group psychotherapy using evidence-based modalities.
- Conduct comprehensive diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver high-quality care to a diverse outpatient population, both in-person and via telehealth.
- Maintain timely, accurate clinical documentation in the EHR (same-day or within 24 hours).
- Collaborate with primary care, psychiatry, and community resources as needed.
- Participate in clinical meetings, case reviews, and quality improvement efforts.
- Optional: Lead specialty groups (trauma, DBT skills, anxiety management, etc.).
Minimum Qualifications.
- Master’s degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related behavioral health field.
- Active, unrestricted/unencumbered LCPC or LCSW-C licensed for Maryland.
- Active, unrestricted/unencumbered license in one of the Counseling Compact Member States with full eligibility to practice in Maryland under the Compact legislative agreement.
- Minimum 1–3 years post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in outpatient treatment.
- Experience providing evidence-based therapy for common mental health conditions.
- Strong clinical judgment, excellent documentation skills, and the ability to work independently.
Schedule & Work Model: Hybrid

- In-person sessions at our Windsor Mill office / Telehealth from home office or from the clinic.
Flexible scheduling, including:
- Evening or weekend availability
- Clinician control over caseload growth
Compensation & Benefits.
- $70-$75+ Per Session
- This is a 1099 independent contractor position.
- Minimum 10 client contacts weekly
- Expected hours: 10 – 30 per week
- Administrative support for scheduling, billing, insurance credentialing, and marketing.
- CEU reimbursement is available after the initial 6-month onboarding period (Up to $500–$1,000 annually) for approved continuing education, workshops, and specialty certifications (e.g., EMDR, DBT, trauma-focused training). Supports ongoing professional development and Maryland licensure renewal.
