```Duties```
- Assist pharmacists in dispensing prescription medications
- Prepare and package medications for distribution
- Maintain inventory of medications and supplies
- Enter prescription information into computer systems
- Provide customer service to patients and answer their medication-related questions
- Follow proper procedures for handling and disposing of medications
```Qualifications```
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Completion of a pharmacy technician training program or equivalent experience
- Certification as a pharmacy technician (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology and pharmaceutical calculations
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
Skills:
- Patient care: Ability to provide excellent customer service and assist patients with their medication needs.
- Medication administration: Knowledge of different types of medications and how to properly administer them.
- Medical terminology: Familiarity with medical terms and abbreviations used in healthcare settings.
- Pharmacy technician: Proficiency in performing the duties and responsibilities of a pharmacy technician.
- Inhale: Experience with inhalation medications and devices.
- Critical care: Understanding of critical care medications and their administration.
- Acute care: Knowledge of medications commonly used in acute care settings.
- Pharmacy: Familiarity with pharmacy operations, including medication dispensing and inventory management.
- IV infusion: Ability to prepare and administer intravenous medications.
- Aseptic technique: Understanding of sterile techniques used in medication preparation.
