Down to Earth Landscaping, Inc. is a leading landscaping company serving New Jersey, Maryland, Washington DC, and Virginia with expertise in Design Build, Maintenance, Irrigation, Turf Management and Snow Removal.
We are seeking a Customer Service Representative to support the Irrigation department at the company’s headquarters located in Jackson, NJ on a full-time schedule. The successful candidate will be responsible for answering incoming customer calls, utilizing company policies and resources to solve customers' inquiries and issues, and performing other administrative tasks as needed.
Essential Job Duties:
- Answer numerous phone calls pertaining to our services
- Provide valid and complete information to prospective customers
- Manage customer inquiries in an accurate and prompt manner
- Schedule future service appointments efficiently for customers
- Resolve customer complaints and concerns by providing appropriate solutions
- Identify the customers’ needs to ensure customer satisfaction
- Perform other administrative tasks as assigned by the Irrigation Service Coordinator and the Irrigation Director
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Outstanding interpersonal and customer service skills
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Highly responsive to requests from management
- Ability to work independently without supervision as well as collectively as part of a team
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year of previous Customer Service experience
- Excellent customer service and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, willingness to think creatively to find a solution
- Aspire software experience preferred but not required
Experience:
- Administrative Assistants & Receptionists: 1 year (Preferred)
- Customer service: 1 year (Preferred)
