We are seeking a reliable and experienced Forklift Operator to join our team in Highlands, TX. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely operating forklifts to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role requires attention to detail, adherence to safety protocols, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Operate forklifts to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse or production area.
- Inspect forklifts daily to ensure proper functioning and report any maintenance issues.
- Follow all safety guidelines and company policies to maintain a safe working environment.
- Assist with inventory management by accurately counting and recording stock.
- Stack and organize materials in designated locations to maximize space and efficiency.
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area.
- Valid forklift operator certification or license.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse or industrial setting.
- Strong understanding of safety procedures and regulations related to forklift operation.
- Ability to lift heavy objects and perform physical tasks as required.
- Good communication skills and ability to work well in a team environment.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work flexible hours if needed.
