SCHEDULE HOURS: 2pm-10pm Mon-Fri 5 days a week (weekends available)
Maplewood Gardens Assisted Living Community is currently recruiting for a FT caregiver for Assisted Living.
OFFERING COMPETITIVE SALARY BASED ON EXPERIENCE, CREDENTIALING, AND POSITION APPLIED FOR.
-LOCATED ON MAJOR BUS LINE. Travel is easy!
Permanent staff will be eligible for sick/vacation/holiday pay along with medical/dental/vision benefits.
Caregiver may be CNA's (Certified Nurse Aide) or HCA's (Health Care Aide). Must be reliable, dependable, honest, caring and have a flexible availability.
ALL STAFF MUST BE ABLE TO READ, WRITE AND COMMUNICATE EFFECTIVELY AND PASS FINGERPRINT BACKGROUND CHECK.
Responsibilities and Duties:
- Attend to individual care needs and get to know their preferences and personalities.
- Provide nutritional support as needed. Duties may include meal preparation, engaging in client activities.
- Assistance with personal hygiene, bathing and grooming. Assist with housekeeping and laundry.
- Written and verbal communication; quality improvement. Reporting changes in client's condition.
Requirements and Qualifications:
- Previous experience working with seniors and/or a desire to serve and care for seniors
- Ability to work weekends and a flexible schedule.
- Criminal Background Check. CNA/HCA licenses (food handler, 1st aid/CPR)
The more experience and certifications you have on hire the more money you make but we are certainly not afraid to hire newly certified staff!

Pay: $20.00 - $23.00 per hour
