Night shift: 4:00p.m. to 12:00a.m.
Responsibilities:
- Provide crisis intervention and support to individuals residing in the domestic violence shelter
- Conduct intake assessments and develop individualized service plans
- Assist clients in accessing community resources and services
- Provide case management and advocacy services to clients
- Facilitate support groups and educational workshops
- Maintain accurate and confidential client files and documentation
- Collaborate with other staff members and community partners to ensure comprehensive care for clients
- Ensure the safety and security of the shelter environment
Qualifications:
- Experience working with individuals experiencing homelessness or in crisis situations
- Knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to effectively manage conflict and deescalate tense situations
- Certification in addiction counseling or related field is a plus
Requirements:
-Warm and pleasent speaking voice
-Ability to provide client support in times of crisis
-Ability to establich rapport with callers on the crfisis hotline
