Join our dynamic team as a LEGO® Reseller Party and Event Host/Salesperson, where your enthusiasm and customer service skills will bring joy to children and families alike! Duties
- Host lively LEGO® themed parties and events, guiding children and families through engaging activities and demonstrations
- Manage event setup and breakdown efficiently, including manual handling of event materials and equipment
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting guests with product inquiries, purchases, and checkout processes using POS systems
- Ensure safety protocols are followed at all times, including adherence to venue safety standards and emergency procedures such as first aid
- Handle cash transactions accurately, process payments swiftly, and maintain proper cash handling procedures
- Manage guest interactions professionally, resolving conflicts or concerns promptly to maintain a positive atmosphere
- Support event promotion through public speaking or storytelling to enhance guest engagement and excitement
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the event space, including outdoor work areas if applicable
Qualifications
- Experience in events management or hosting large gatherings preferred; ability to coordinate multiple activities seamlessly
- Strong customer service skills with a friendly, energetic attitude that energizes guests of all ages
- Background in retail sales or food service with experience processing cash transactions and operating POS systems
- Knowledge of safety protocols including CPR, first aid certification, or lifeguard experience is advantageous
- Comfortable with manual handling tasks such as heavy lifting of event supplies or outdoor equipment
- Previous experience working with children or in hospitality environments is highly desirable
- Excellent communication skills for public speaking and guest interaction; ability to manage conflict effectively
- Familiarity with outdoor work environments or theater experience can be beneficial for dynamic event hosting
- LEGO® Experience is a PLUS.
