Our Clifton Park Day Services location is looking for a Registered Nurse. At the Arc Columbia-Saratoga, we support adults with developmental disabilities. This Clifton Park position is a Monday through Friday, daytime nursing position. There are no evenings, no weekends, and no on call! You can be home in time for dinner.
Do you have experience working with people with developmental disabilities and have a NYS nursing license? We'd love to see if this is a good fit for you.
In this role, some of the job responsibilities include
- Assessing and treating people for basic first aid
- Administering medications
- Documenting seizure activity, medication records, blood pressures and weights
- Tracks and reviews annual physicals
- Writes monthly summaries, quarterly, and annual reports
To be eligible for this position, you need to
- Be a Registered Professional Nurse in NYS
- Hold an associate's degree in nursing, or better from an accredited school
- Have a valid driver's license
- Have experience working with people with developmental disabilities (strongly preferred).
The payrate for this position is $34.00 per hour. It is a 7:30 am to 4:00 pm, Monday through Friday role. We have excellent benefits including health insurance, vacation, holiday and sick time. Our Clifton Park team is a great group of colleagues and an inclusive environment.
