Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Electrical Foreman to lead electrical construction projects across New Hampshire and Maine. In this full-time role, you will oversee on-site electrical operations, manage teams of skilled electricians, and ensure projects are completed safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. Your expertise in construction management, technical drawings, and safety regulations will drive project success from start to finish. Duties
- Supervise and coordinate electrical installation activities on construction sites, ensuring adherence to project schedules and safety standards.
- Manage and direct teams of electricians, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to maintain high productivity levels.
- Review construction drawings, schematics, blueprints, and technical specifications to interpret project requirements accurately.
- Oversee construction schedule coordination to ensure timely project delivery.
- Conduct quality control inspections, ensuring all work meets industry standards, federal safety regulations (OSHA), and client specifications.
- Collaborate with project managers on budgeting, procurement, and managing contracts to optimize resources and control costs.
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols by enforcing OSHA regulations and federal construction safety standards across all sites.
- Review construction schedules regularly, adjusting plans as needed to meet project milestones while managing risks effectively.
- Interpret technical drawings and schematics accurately using tools such as ohmmeters for electrical testing and troubleshooting.
Requirements
- Proven experience supervising electrical construction projects with strong leadership skills in managing teams in a construction management role.
- Familiarity with construction site experience, blueprint reading, schematics interpretation, and technical drawing review.
- Strong understanding of federal safety regulations (OSHA) and best practices for maintaining a safe work environment on active sites.
- Ability to coordinate complex construction schedules utilizing Primavera or similar scheduling software.
- Experience with construction estimating, budgeting, and managing contracts effectively within a fast-paced environment.
- Skilled in supervising a team while maintaining high standards of quality control throughout the project lifecycle.
- Valid management experience in heavy electrical or industrial projects is highly desirable.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interpret technical data clearly for team members and stakeholders alike.
- Must have Real ID License
- Must have OSHA 10, OSHA 30 preferred
- Must have your own small tools
