Overview
Strong background in property management, tenant interviewing, income calculations, file auditing, and Fair Housing regulations.
HUD Section 8 / LIHTC Recertification Specialist
Bilingual Spanish/English A MUST
Must have relevant certifications (LIHTC, RAM, BOS, COS, AHM, HOTMA) and a minimum of 10 years experience performing HUD Section 8 and LIHTC certifications.
Location is close to the train and is in a gated community in the Brownsville section of Brooklyn. Parking is provided.
Duties:
1. File audits for HUD MOR readiness.
2. Run EIV reports; investigate income discrepancies, prepare repayment agreements.
3. Applicant processing and waitlist management.
4. Working with existing property staff to correct any file errors or deficiencies.
Job Type: Temporary contract agreement
Pay: $45 hourly (lunch not included, taxes will not be deducted, a 1099 will be issued)

Monday to Friday 9am – 5pm
