Job Summary
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Truck Driver with at lease 2 years of Water Hauling experience to join our transportation team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for safely transporting goods to various locations while adhering to all traffic laws and company policies. This role requires a strong commitment to safety, punctuality, and professionalism in all aspects of driving.
Duties
- Operate various types of trucks, including but not limited to side dump, water tanker, and belly dump.
- Perform routine inspections of the vehicle before and after trips to ensure safety and compliance.
- Plan routes efficiently to meet delivery schedules while considering traffic conditions and road regulations.
- Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, vehicle inspections, and cargo deliveries.
- Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding delivery status and any issues encountered on the road.
- Adhere to all federal, state, and local regulations regarding commercial driving.
Experience
- Proven experience in truck driving with a valid commercial driver's license (CDL).
- Familiarity with various types of trucks including manual transmission vehicles.
- Previous experience with tanker or construction trailers is mandatory.
- Strong understanding of safety protocols related to commercial driving.
