Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Assurance Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the highest standards of quality in our services and programs. This position involves monitoring, evaluating, and improving the quality of care provided to clients, with a strong focus on behavioral health and crisis management. The Quality Assurance Specialist will work collaboratively with clinical staff to implement best practices and ensure DMAS & DBHDS compliance with relevant regulations.
Duties
- Conduct regular audits and evaluations of PROGRESS NOTES to ensure adherence to established quality standards.
- Access our charting system to ensure employees are properly utilizing it.
- Develop and implement quality assurance protocols that align with organizational goals.
- Collaborate with clinical teams to identify areas for improvement in service delivery, particularly in applied behavior analysis, crisis intervention, and behavior management.
- Provide training and support to staff on quality assurance processes and behavioral health best practices.
- Prepare detailed reports on quality assurance findings and present recommendations for improvements.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as psychology, social work, or behavioral health; advanced degree preferred.
- Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis and crisis management techniques.
- Experience in behavioral health settings, particularly with PTSD care and crisis intervention.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to conduct research effectively.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with clinical staff and stakeholders.
- Familiarity with behavior management strategies and their application in clinical settings.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team focused on quality improvement initiatives.
