Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to help launch and grow our HVAC division. This role involves diagnosing, servicing, and repairing residential and light commercial HVAC systems.
The ideal candidate is a skilled troubleshooter who communicates well with customers and takes pride in delivering high-quality work.
Key Responsibilities
· Diagnose, service, and repair residential and light commercial HVAC systems
· Perform routine maintenance and system tune-ups
· Respond to service calls, including occasional emergency repairs
· Work on furnaces, heat pumps, ductless mini-split systems, and AC units
· Clearly explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers
· Complete service documentation and paperwork accurately and on time
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional job site
· Assist with installation of new HVAC systems when needed
Job Scope
· Residential and light commercial service work
· New HVAC equipment installation
· Emergency repair calls
· Work on multiple HVAC brands and system models
Minimum Qualifications
· 2+ years of HVAC service experience
· Journeyman for 2 years in Idaho and qualified to pass the Idaho HVAC contractor’s exam
· EPA Certification (Universal preferred)
· Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
· Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
· Knowledge of multiple HVAC system models and manufacturers
· Strong communication and customer service skills
Preferred Qualifications
· HVAC installation experience
· EPA Universal Certification
· Washington EL06 Low Voltage Certification
