We are seeking a motivated and dependable Furniture Delivery Driver to join our dynamic team. Responsibilities
- Safely operate box trucks and commercial vehicles in compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and company policies.
- Load, secure, and unload furniture using manual handling techniques, pallet jacks, forklifts, or moving equipment as needed.
- Follow designated delivery routes efficiently while adapting to traffic or route changes to meet delivery schedules.
- Assist customers with the placement and setup of furniture inside their homes, demonstrating excellent customer service skills.
- Conduct pre-trip inspections of vehicles to ensure safety and proper functioning before each shift.
- Maintain accurate delivery logs, documentation, and reports related to load & unload activities.
- Adhere to safe lifting practices and weight handling guidelines during all manual handling tasks to prevent injury.
Experience
- Previous experience as a delivery driver, courier, or in a similar warehouse or moving environment is preferred.
- Familiarity with heavy lifting, manual handling, and safe lifting practices is essential.
- Experience operating box trucks or vehicles with manual transmission is highly desirable.
- Knowledge of route driving, load & unload procedures, and DOT regulations ensures compliance and safety on the road.
- Customer service experience helps in delivering a positive experience for clients during each interaction.
- Certification in forklift operation or pallet jack use is a plus but not required; training will be provided if needed.
- Ability to handle physical tasks involving moving heavy furniture safely while maintaining professionalism.

Pay: $150.00 - $180.00 per day
