Job Summary
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to enhancing the quality of life for clients, including those requiring memory care, hospice care, and home care services. As a Caregiver, you will play a vital role in helping clients maintain their independence and dignity while ensuring their safety and well-being.
Duties
- Provide patient care and support with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans tailored to each client’s specific needs.
- Assist clients with mobility and transportation to appointments or social activities.
- Monitor clients’ health status and report any changes or concerns to the appropriate healthcare professionals.
- Engage clients in meaningful conversations and activities to promote social interaction and mental stimulation.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, ensuring all areas are tidy and organized.
- Support individuals with autism by implementing specific strategies that cater to their unique needs.
- Collaborate with family members, nurses, social workers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in patient care or as a caregiver is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
- Knowledge of care plans, memory care techniques, hospice care practices, and home care protocols is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare teams.
- A compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to perform physical tasks associated with caregiving duties, including lifting or moving clients when necessary.
- Reliable transportation is preferred for travel between client homes or appointments.

Pay: $19.00 - $25.00 per hour
